Documents for the Italian Residence permit
Documents needed
(to obtain before your departure):
- An ORIGINAL copy and an CERTIFIDED translation in ITALIAN of your secondary school diploma, certified and released by the competent territorial Italian Representation together with a declaration of value, called "dichiarazione di valore" in Italian.
- An ORIGINAL copy and an CERTIFIED translation in ITALIAN, of your University degree, certified and released by the competent territorial Italian Consulate together with a declaration of value, called "dichiarazione di valore" in Italian.

- Fiscal code (“codice fiscale” in Italian)
After your arrival in Rome, you will have to go to the “Agenzia delle Entrate” in Via Ippolito Nievo, 36 (Opening hours: 9-5 pm, Saturday 9-13). The code is needed in order to open a bank account in Italy and to enrol to our university - Residence permit
At any post office you will get a “Residence permit kit”. You then bring it to the University’s Police Office (inside the University Campus, Piazzale Aldo Moro 5, Rome

You will need to open a bank account in
Italy (you can choose any bank) in order to receive the scholarship
granted by Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Windows.
Documents you will need to show to open your bank account are: fiscal code, residence permit, passport and visa.
