As of the academic year 2007/08, the Erasmus Mundus program offers EU students enrolled in an Erasmus Mundus Master course the possibility to make use of Erasmus grants.

The amount of money awarded by an Erasmus grant varies significantly from country to country, but on no account should you expect an Erasmus grant to cover all your expenses. The SOCRATES/ERASMUS grant is intended to offset part of the difference in the cost of living in the other country. However, it is important to note that students enrolled in an Erasmus Mundus MSc program can receive an Erasmus grant twice.
